Police Arrests Illegal Cable TV Broadcasting Actor

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 27/1 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Balangan, South Kalimantan, Criminal Police arrested a Civil Servant (PNS) for allegedly broadcasting illegal cable TV.

"He was allegedly guilty of violating the Broadcasting Act," said Head of Criminal Police AKP Dany Sulistiono SE in Balangan on Friday.

HR, the citizen of South Paringin, Balangan, was arrested without resistance at his home on Thursday (12/1) night, around 18:30 pm.

Here the police found some evidence of a violation of the Broadcasting Act to practice cable TV, of which 27 modular of different brands and colors, 25 receivers of different brands and colors, a booster, a splitter, a power supply, one stavol, one toolbox cable tv, two parabolic brand matrix and cash Rp300,000.

Finally, the perpetrators and the evidence brought to the police station to undergo examination and further legal proceedings.

The results of the examination, HR was named as suspect and charged under Article 58 letter b Law Decree No.58 of 2002 on Broadcasting.

"From his description, HR had long business of allegedly illegal cable TV about three years," said AKP Dany Sulistiono.
