TNI South Kalimantan Moves to Fight Drugs

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 19/1 (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan Military 101/Antasari Commander (Danrem) Colonel Cav. Yanuar Adil stated that military or TNI has already been proving participation in the fight against drug trafficking in the province with the disclosure of cases.

"In Banjarmasin and Tanah Bumbu our soldiers have done the disclosure of drug delivery that is quite large. It was proof that we are moving," he said during a meeting with members of the press from across the province in military headquarters (Korem) here on Thursday.

He also has long instructed his staffs to the bottom level to prevent the circulation of illicit drugs, particularly G-class drug kind of Zhenit, which has very rampant circulation.

"We are trying to save people from the dangers of these drugs, but still have to establish coordination with the police as a more competent institutions," he said.

Yanuar Adil said the security of citizens is more important than any intruders, including the attack of drugs, which endanger the nation and country.

"Because these drugs have destroyed the nation, so we declare war against them," he said.

South Kalimantan used to be a safe and peaceful province, but now even threatened by drugs almost uncontrolled, and the danger is already affecting the students.

"Surely this is the growing concerns, so I ask the public to be alert, immediately report to the authorities if there is a person who plays," he said.
