Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan 12/1 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarbaru Regional Secretary Said Abdullah threatened to dismiss civilian state apparatus (ASN) who proved to be involved in the illegal fees in public services.


"We are ready to impose heavy penalties namely dismissing the ASN who proved of taking illegal fees in public services of their task," he said in Banjarbaru, Thursday.

He said the sanction is the most severe punishment will be meted out to the ASN, in addition to milder sanctions such as career pending.

He explained, ASN involved in illegal payments will not be immediately dropped, but punishment will be implemented according to the stages began with warning to coaching for the concerned.

"Every ASN involved in extortion will be given a warning letter and will be guided for correction. If you keep repeating, then the most severe sanctions to be imposed," he said.

According to him, the dismissal for the ASN is more severe than criminal sanctions imposed, because it will affect people's views if anyone ceases from a public servant.

"We think, fire sanction is more severe than criminal sanctions that anyone will be more embarrassed, especially if known to the people in the neighborhood," he said.

Meanwhile, as a form of readiness of combating extortion in the scope of the local administration, all the elements of saber pungli (illegal levies eradication task force) membership will be inaugrated on Monday (16/1).
