PLN Srikandi invited children and parents to play together during the National Children Day (HAN) celebration entitled “Maen Yuk” or let's play in the courtyard of PLN South-Central Kalimantan Main Distribution Unit (UID Kalselteng) office in Banjarbaru, Sunday (July 28, 2024).
Children of PLN employees took part in the play which was enlivened by various interesting activities, such as Face Painting, Fun Bubble, Finger Painting, and Ice Cream Party.
General Manager of PLN UID Kalselteng Muhammad Joharifin here on Thursday expressed the importance of this event as a form of the company's appreciation and attention to employee families.
“After yesterday the PLN Srikandis together with YBM gave happiness to orphan children, this time through “Maen Yuk” we give space to children of employees to play and provides a fun and unforgetable experience for them,” he said.
“Maen Yuk” or let's play not only provided entertainment for children but became a valuable moment for parents to interact and enjoy time with families.
“We hope that through this event, PLN employee families become closer and more harmonious,” Joharifin pointed out.
Head of Srikandi PLN South-Central Kalimantan Astri Rahma Wijayanti, who also present at the event, said the importance of this event for the development of children.
“This activity is not just an entertainment, but a mean for children to learn and develop. Through interaction with other children, they can learn about emphaty, coopeation, and how to share happiness,” she said.
Educating children through play activities will increase creativity and fun. For instance, they can express themselves through art and color in Face Painting and Finger Painting.
“All activities are made more fun and exciting. We can teach simple physics with Fun Bubble, then we give sweet and fresh ending with Ice Cream Party,” Astri said.
Astri thanked the management of PLN UID Kalselteng for fully supporting this activity. She was also very proud to be able to organize this event and hopes that the children felt love and attention of the big family of PLN.
