A member of House of Representatives' (DPR RI's) Commission II Difriadi reminded residents to install land boundary markers or stakes when socializing the complete systematic land registration (PTSL) program in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan.
"It is important for communities to protect their land boundary by installing land markers," he said at the dissemination of the program here on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Installing markers or stakes, he expounded, will help make it easier for land officers to measure the land.

According to him, cooperation is needed between community and the Land Office to be able to regulate rights management ownership of land for every citizen.
He admitted PTSL program, which is being promoted by the Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Ministry/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), was born because many people owned land but did not yet have certificates.
Thus, the government is encouraging this program in an effort to accelerate and ensure this right for the community so they have the ownership that is free from disputes.
"DPR has the duty and authority to support this strategic program of ATR Ministry/BPN," he stressed.
Meanwhile, Head of South Kalimantan BPN Office Abdul Azis said that obtaining land certificate is easy if it fulfill five condditions, namely there must be a land, clear boundaries and dimensions, proof of ownership, clear ownership, no dispute, administration cost paid off.
"PTSL program is a free land certification activity to ensure legal certainty for land owners," he explained.
On that occasion, land certificates were symbolically handed over to 10 recipients from several urban villages in Banjarbaru City.
