The government of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, through Tourism, Youth and Sport Office (Disparpora) will present One Night Saijaan event at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Park in East Jakarta.

"We will present various attractive performance depicting the Regency of Kotabaru entitled "Bakunjangan Ke kampung Laut" (Visiting the Sea Village) in context of arts and culture," said Rudi Nugraha, head of Event and Performance of the Kotabaru Disparpora, Wednesday (Dec 6, 2023).

The two days event on November 9-10, 2023, he said, will present creative economy expo, continuous welcome dinner to introduce the potential arts and culture to raise the image of tourism and other potential of Kotabaru.

"Thank God, we receive enthusiasm and positive respond, because God Willing this activity  will raise the image of Kotabaru," he said.

Here, he said, the original Bajau Rampa tribal art to be displayed with rope walkway accompanied by Alahay music as well as spear dances and Japin children of eight.

One Night Saijaan, which is a breakthrough in promoting Kotabaru, offers various aspects to investors who attend the activity.

"Thank God, Kotabaru is the first to hold a performance package at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah after COVID-19," he said.

Rudi expects that through this event Kotabaru's image  will be further raised both at the national and international level.
