South kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin handed over IDR4.42 billion humanitaria aid for Palestinian war victims through the National Alms Agency (Baznas).
The handover to Deputy Chairman of Baznas Mokhamad Mahdum di Achmad Subianto Hall, Baznas in Jakarta, Monday, was witnessed by Special Staff to Governor Achmad Maulana and the Baznas Directur of Strengthening Collection Fitriansyah Agus Setiawan.
He said the donation was from the people of "Banua" (South Kalimantan) to help and relieve the Palestinian people who were colonized by zionist Israel.
“The suffering of the people of Palestine is the suffering of all of us,” said Uncle Birin.
He appreciated the donation coordinated by Baznas from the people of South Kalimantan for victims of war in Palestine. "Hopefully the donation will be useful for the Palestinian people,” Uncle Birin said.

Deputy Chair of Baznas welcomed the donation from the South Kalimantan. “We express our gratitude to the people of South Kalimantan for their donation to the Palestinian people. Hopefully this donation can be used to ease the suffering of Palestinian people,” he said.
Mahdum specifically prayed that Governor Sahbirin and the people of South Kalimantan would always be protected by Allah Subhanahu WaTaala.
Head of South Kalimantan Baznas Irhamsyah Safari said the collection of donation from the people of the province from various elements of society was fully supported by the South Kalimantan Provincial Government and the Governor.
“The donation coordinated by South Kalimantan Baznas was to continue the appeal from the (central) Baznas not only for prayers but for best donation and Uncle Birin had fully supported,” said Irhamsyah.
On the occasion of the handover, Uncle Birin gave a souvenir in the form of plaque to Deputy Chair of Baznas.
