Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalmantan Regional Police have foiled trafficking of narcotics types of crystal methamphetamine or sabu-sabu weighing 2.5 kilograms and 858 ecstasy pills.


"Disclosure of the case conducted by the Drug Sub-directorate III  which took about one week," said South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Brigadier General Erwin Triwanto in Banjarmasin on Monday.

He said, discomfiture circulation of sabu-sabu weighing 2.5 kilograms and hundreds of ecstasy thanks to information from the community and the hard work of Drug Sub-directorate III members in combating drug trafficking in South Kalimantan.

In addition to thwarting drug trafficking, Drug Sub-directorate members led by AKBP Adri Koko Prabowo Sik MH also arrested four actors in one network.

They initials were HYS alias Abau (40), a resident of Barito Kuala, RUS (35), a woman, a resident of South Kuin, North Banjarmasin, and AF (38), resident of Teluk Dalam, Central Banjarmasin.

HYS, RUS and AF were arrested on Wednesday (31/8) afternoon around 13:30 pm and then the case developed until 15:00 pm.

From the three actors, police confiscated 14.52 grams of sabu-sabu and 100 ecstasy pills types of ineks in Jalan Kuin Selatan, West Banjarmasin.

Police deepening the case till they found 1735.34 grams of sabu-sabu and 758 ineks pills (695 green pills with S logo and red color with Nike logo 63 pills) in Jalan Bakti Handil, Barito Kuala.

Police chief also said the case was keep to be developed so that on Friday (2/9) afternoon members caught AJ aka Ardi (30), a driver, in one network with HYS, RUS and AF. He is from North Aceh District, Aceh.

From AJ police confiscated three packages of crystal meth with a net weight of 786 grams.

HYS, RUS and AF charged under Article 132 (1) a subsidiary of Article 114 (2) subs Article 112 (2) of Law No. 35/2009 on Narcotics Tatun. While AJ charged under Article 114 (2) subs Article 112 (2) of Law Number 35/2009 on Narcotics.
