Acting Regent of Barito Kuala, South Kalimantan, Mujiyat said that the district government continues to maximize efforts to reduce stunting, curbing inflation, and to alleviate extreme poverty in the district.
"Stunting has down by about 11.43 percent, inflation has been handled well, and extreme poverty was dealed with house renovation reaching hundreds of houses," said Mujiyat, when attending zoom meeting Assistance for Regional Government Implementation held by Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Home Affairs in Banjarmasin, Saturday (Oct 21, 2023).
Barito Kuala's (Batola's) progress in agriculture, which becomes the national food barn, has also overcome inflation.
“Throughout eigh months of work, the Batola District Government has received 12 awards. This means that in one month more than one award was received,” Mujiyat remarked.
He hopes that all the data presented could be synchronized and harmonized together for the better implementation of governance.

Batola Regional Secretary H Zulkipli Yadi Noor really appreciated the presentation of the joint data, because the district government will find out if there is still deficiencies in the government administration and more quickly to repair.
“The essence is that the acting Regent's performance is our performance. We are here with all our heart carry out the mandated programs,” he pointed out.
The Zoom meeting for Regional Government Implementation Assistance by the Inspectorate General was also attended by Regional Secretary Zulkipli Yadi Noor and all heads of the district government working units (SKPDs).
The assistance aims to improve the performance of regional government, covering aspects of administration, development, and society.
The regional government performance will be re-evaluated in the fourth quarter at the Inspectorate General of the ministry.
The activity was filled with direction and guidance by sources from the Inspectorate General from inspectors 1-4 and middle auditors.
