Balangan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Balangan Resort Police continues to provide oversight of the nine staple (sembako) as well as the supply of LPG and fuel since the eve of Ramadan until approaching Eid.

Balangan Police Chief AKBP Sudrajad Hariwibowo at Paringin on Wednesday revealed ahead of Ramadan Balangan Police held a coordination meeting with the related local government offices (SKPD) and the local stakeholders in the Patria Tama room of Balangan Police headquarters, Wednesday (1/6).

"In the meeting was discussed about the problems that will arise before the holy month of Ramadan, such as hike price of food, hoarding, groceries eligibility to LPG and fuel supply," he said.

Then to anticipate price hikes as well as hoarding of groceries and dangerous foodstuffs, he said, the police together with the relevant office to check the expired date as well as the dissemination of anything may be bought by and sold to the public.

According to the police chief, the monitoring should be carried out continuously, especially before Eid 1437.

In addition to food, he also expects gas station entrepreneurs to comply with the operational hours in order not to disrupt the activities of the community.

"Police Balangan ready to assist relevant agencies, such conduct sudden inspection to expired goods, as well as to stabilize food prices, checking into warehouse. If anyone doing hoarding we will take firm action," said Police Chief AKBP Hariwibowo Sudrajat.
