Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tanah Laut Manpower, Transmigration and Social Agency (Disnakertransos) head HM Rafiki asked companies here to pay its employees in accordance with the South Kalimantan Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP).

"If companies do not pay according to UMP, then there are criminal sanctions granted to the company in accordance with the Employment Act," said HM Rafiki in Pelaihari, Wednesday (25/5).

For this, according to him, many companies were reported by their employees to Disnakertransos and they got warnings.

"The reports that we followed up by checking their respective companies. From the examination we gave memorandum. When the memorandum was not addressed, then we report it to the civil servant investigators (PPNS)," he explained.

He hoped that the company in Tanah Laut comply with the payment of salaries in accordance with UMP, so that no one harmed.

"UMP sectoral South Kalimantan province for food and beverage industry is Rp2.1 million, and Rp2.1 million for mining, plantation Rp2,09 million and banking Rp3,077juta," he explained.
