Regent of Kotabaru Sayed Jafar has instructed hospitals and comunity health centers (puskesmas) medical staff to provide prime service to the community during Ramadan.

He made his remarks when observing directly the readiness and availability of medicines, emergency unit, inpatients facilities at the hospital and community health center in 
Sengayam, Pamukan Barat Sub-district.

"We come here to ensure that Sengayam Hospital will not be separated from the attention of the government, because this hospital still has a long way to go," Sayed Jafar said in Kotabaru, Wednesday.

In addition to assure the preparedness of health services, the Regent of Kotabaru provided encouragement to all health workers as a form of motivation and support of the Kotabaru District Government to always remain optimal in providing services to patients.

He also said that his visit was to meet medical workers and cleaning service workers at the place.

The Regent reminded cleaning service workers to pay attention to the clenliness of the hospital dan health centers environment.

"As the residents of Sengayam we have to be proud that we already have a hospital, and if one of our family is sick, we no longer need to go to Batulicin or Grogot to get health services," said Sayed.

According to him, the construction of the hospital will be continued by providing supporting facilities and infrastructure and adding equipment to maximize hospital operations.

After visiting Sengayam Hospital, the number one person in Kotabaru immediately visited several community health centers to assure optimum health services for the community.
