The Regional Family Quality Improvement Team (TPK2D) of the South Kalimantan Women's and Children's Empowerment Office conducted an assessment of the quality of families in Sungai Seluang Village, North Kelumpang Sub-district, Kotabaru District.

Kotabaru Administration and Welfare Assistant H Minggu Basuki here on Tuesday said the assessmen by the TPK2D team was a motivation and additional enthusiasm for all stakeholders in the district to realize a better family quality.

"(This is) in line with the vision and mission of the Kotabaru District Government to create an advanced and quality society," he noted in a press statement.

He hopes that the results of the assessment will be useful and to be used as evaluation and input in encouraging the improvement of the quality of families, especially in Sungai Seluang Village, as well as for all villages in the district.

Synergy and collaboration of all relevant parties must be maintained and improved, because building human resources by building a prosperous family starting from the village is everyone's responsibility.

Head of the South Kalimantan Child Empowerment and Protection Agency Adi Santoso explained that family development is a thematic, strategic issue in national development to realize the first mission of South Kalimantan.

Building quality human resources, virtuous character and to achieve Child-friendly Indonesia (IDOLA) in 2030. IDOLA will be achieved if all provinces are child-friendly, then the golden generation by 2045.

The Chairwoman of the Kotabaru Family Welfare Development (PKK), Hj Fatma Idiana, explained the family's defense and watched a video review about Sungai Seluang Village, North Kelumpang Sub-district.
