Amuntai, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Regent Abdul Wahid appreciated the police together with related agencies who managed to uncover and captured drug traffickers in Amuntai last Friday.


A total of 1.0596 million zenith carnopen pills and 376,069 dextro pills confiscated by police with the prime suspect HSS alias H Tinghui along with 10 employees of Ceria Sehat Pharmacy, Amuntai

"We are glad because the police successfully arrested drug kingpin who has been selling zenith and dextro to young generation. The government and the HSU community continue to support the police eradicate drug dealers," said Wahid.

Wahid said that the business of selling drugs such as zenith and dextro so fantastic. As many as 1.0596 million zenith pills and 376,064 dextro pill if sold could generate a profit of Rp30 billion.

"Maybe the traders buy zenith only about Rp2.2 billion, but they sold it to users could achieve a profit of Rp30 billion," said Wahid.

A total of seven warehouses raided became the location of the zenith and dextro storage belong to Ceria Sehat Pharmacy. All now have been secured by the police and given a police line.

Besides zenith carnopen and dextro, officers also confiscated a number of herbs or powerful drugs and sex tools in the drug storage warehouses.

"Police together with related parties are expected to continue to develop the investigation to reveal other drug dealers and from where the illicit goods were brought in to find a factory or distributor," said Wahid.

The prime suspect subject to Article 157 of Law No. 36 of 2009 health with the threat of 15 years in prison and a fine of Rp1.5 billion.

While attending Musrenbang in Sub-district of Haur Gading, Wahid asked people to report when there is suspicious activity related to drug trafficking.
