Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Commander of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Air Field Lt. Col. Erwin Sugandi said combat training of Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) personnel in Sub-district of Kurau will be in May 2016.
Lt. Col. Erwin Sugandi conveyed that during his visit to Tanah Laut government office. He was greeted by Regent H Bambang Alamsyah and Regional Secretary (Sekda) H Abdullah, as well as the Head of Information and Protocol Andreas Evony.
The exercise of Air Force personnel, according to Erwin, involved jets fighter and Hercules transport aircraft and helicopters. Training scenarios will be warplanes firing accompanied by action parachuting.
"We are very grateful to the regent who have cooperated in this training," he said.
According to him, the existence of Maluka Baulin air field in Tanah Laut only used for small aircraft or aerospace training, while large aircraft or commercial aircraft is still not possible.
