Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan, police securing J, a village resident suspected as pig bomb maker.


"In addition to securing the alleged perpetrator, Tanah Laut police also secured eight pigs bombs and some raw materials," said Police Chief AKBP Rizal Irawan through the Criminal Investigation Unit head AKP Ade Papa Rihi in Pelaihari on Thursday.

He was secured based on the the development of information obtained from society of Kandangan Lama Village, Panyipatan Sub-district. The district police along with Panyipatan police then investigated into, and finally they found the alleged pig bomb-maker.

The alleged perpetrator turned out to be one of the farmers in the Village of Kandangan Lama. He was in daily trap pigs which disturbed his fields.

Ade Papa Rihi said, based on the recognition of the alleged pig bomber that the explosion heard up one to two kilometers. In fact, he said, if stepped on the bomb, the explosion could deaden animal or human.

He told, as a result of the installation of pig bomb that may harm, people around the village became anxious, because there was one dead cattle owned by resident allegedly trampling the pig bomb.

As a result of these actions, the alleged perpetrator of pig bomb-making was imposed Emergency Law No. 12/1951 with the threat of 15 years in prison.

"At this time the perpetrator secured in Tanah Laut police headquarters, while the evidence of eight bomb in South Kalimantan Mobile Brigade Headquarters," he said.
