Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A total of 84 police officers from various units passed into a mental revolution instructor conducted by South Kalimantan Regional Police.
"We hope, personnel who passed will be instructors for the resort police and the sector police," said South Kalimantan Regional Police Agung Budi Maryoto in Banjarbaru Friday.
The statement was made after the close of mental revolution training for trainers in the State Police School Banjarbaru on 4-15 January 2015.
"After participating in this activity, participants are expected to be agents of change, particularly in the context of mental revolution spearheaded by members of the police," said the police chief.
He stressed that the trainee is able to carry out appropriate mental revolution police mission as a servant, patron and protector of society.
On the other hand, he said, police personnel should good exemplify for the community, including in the daily life in the surrounding neighborhood.
"Members of the national police must give a good example, included in the small things, such as requesting and reminding people to not litter," he said.
Head of South Kalimantan Police spokesman AKBP Sunyipto said, trainees consisted of the first officers to middle-ranking officers both in the scope of the regional police and the resort police.
The event participated by dozens of police personnel was the Institute of Education and Training (Lemdiklat) program of National Police in the framework of a mental revolution.
"This program is a national program implemented by Lemdiklat and is expected to change the mental attitude of members of the police toward the better," he said.
