Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Banjarmasin Prosecutors Office (Kejari) during 2015 managed to save Rp1.1 billion of state money from corruption cases occurred here.


"Over the past year we continued to seriously carry out the eradication of corruption in this region," said Chief of Kejari Banjarmasin Utama Wisnu, SH here on Wednesday.

The state money saved was generated from the return of the proceeds of corruption, money spoils for the country, and money substitutes.

"It's all the work of the Special Crimes field of Kejari Banjarmasin," he said.

Wisnu said that state prosecutors currently investigating the cases of local waste company PD PAL.

Kejari Banjarmasin also has completed several corruption cases, including corruption cases of Lambung Mangkurat University and PT Pos Indonesia.

Kejari Banjarmasin also has completed the execution of nine cases in 2015.

"Year 2016 Kejari Banjarmasin will continue to combat corruption and some projects will also be examined," he said.
