The Balangan Library and Archives Agency (Dispersip) is expected to be a motor in the social inclusion-based library transformation program in South Kalimantan in 2022.

"We hope that Balangan will be the motor for South Kalimantan in 2022, so it can inspire other districts because Balangan has begun to structure its implementation," said National Library Consultant Syaicho Aziz in Paringin, Friday.

He said after monitoring the activities of the Balangan Dispersip the results were quite encouraging,  as various activities have been running as they had been been previously planned by the Dispersip.

He also said that he is ready to convince the National Library that Balangan is ready to implement the social inclusion-based library service transformation program this year.

Head of the Dispersip Tamrin explained that in 2022 Balangan through Dispersip won the trust of provincial and central government to be one of the districts in South Kalimantan to implement an inclusion-based library.

"This is an appreciation as well as a challange for us to carry out the program that can really revive the people's economy," Tamrin expounded.

He elaborated that an inclusion-based library is how to generate people's economy through library. All information sourced from the existing books and literacy to be applied in the District of Balangan.

"Next we will make several collaboration with stakeholders, as of today with the Education Agency (Disdik) and the Office of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) through schools, to improve human resources toward a superior," he said.

The collaboration that including mobile library service and library service at the LKSA Al-Tamar involving schools from kindergarten to high schools in Balangan, will be directly monitored by consultans from National Library.
