A number of victims of the collapsed Alfamart in Gambut Sub-district, Banjar District, were found. Eight survived, and one died. While the search for victims continued till late at night.
Banjar Police Deputy Chief Fihim on the site, Monday night, said one victim, thought to be a visitor, was found dead with prone position in the ruins of the building.
"The victim who died was male. Other victims are found safe and harried up to hospitals," said Fihim to reporters.
According to him, one of the eights victims who found survived from the collapsed of the three story building was the cashier of Alfamart.
Meanwhile, the joint officers from TNI, Polri, BPBD, Banjarmasin Search and Rescue Agency (SAR), and volunteers were still working hard searching to rescue the victims, both employees and visitors.
""Efforts to rescue victims buried in the rubble are carried out using heavy equipment and special equipment and the process continues until all victims are found," he said.

Deputy Police Chief appealed people who lost their family members to immediately report to the command post beside the Gambut gas station, to make it easy for officers in the field.
Head of Fire, Rescue and Evacuation at the Banjar Fire Brigade and Rescue Agency Gusti Yudhi confirmed that one victim died, but the identity was unknown.
He said some of the victims at the Sultan Agung Hospital, Banjarbaru, were Irfan, Alfamart employee, had been allowed to go home, Yulia Ratna, also employee.
Then Syifa (employee), Hefianor (visitor, male), Ade Santoso treated at Ulin Hospital, Rizal Saputra (visitor), already accompanied by family, Ria Agustina (employee), and Arini, resident of Jalan Irigasi, now at Ciputra Hospital.
