Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tabalong Bersinar or Shining Tabalong batik, typical cloth of the areas, introduced to the public through development exhibitions Tabalong Expo, which opened yesterday.
Regent Anang Syakhfiani here on Saturday said Tabalong Expo is an annual event to enliven the 50th District Anniversary. 150 participants from companies, offices to small and medium enterprises take part.
"Through the expo we want to introduce the Tabalong typical batik as well as providing information on the results of development or activity in each SKPD for one year," he explained.
Tabalong Bersinar presented in various motive, ranging from langsat (duku) fruits image, hornbills until Dayak carvings typical.
Sold at prices starting at Rp150 thousand up to millions of rupiah, Tabalong batik presence attract a number of visitors of Tabalong Expo held at the Terminal Mabuun.
Head of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprice Agency Birhasani in his report said Tabalong Expo held 12 to December 18 was also attended by about 99 local SMEs as well as outside the province of South Kalimantan.
