The Regent of Kotabaru H Sayed Jafar together with Commander of 1004/Kotabaru District Military Command Lt. Col. Infantri Boni Berdian observed the opening of access road in Rampa Manunggul Village, Sampanahan Sub-district.

"Road improvement will be continued with pavement this year and next year with the construction of connecting bridge," said the regent as reported on Tuesday.

Previously the access road in Rampa Manunggal Village along six kilometers was built as a work of the TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) in 2021.

The road section being built started from Sungai Sampanahan across from Rampa Manunggul Village to the plantation roads of PT Kalimantan Energi Lesdtari (KEL).

Thanks to TMMD program, the village is no longer isolated, because transportation here before can only be done by water.
