The Indonesian Association of Village Administration (Apdesi) for Tabalong collabrated with the state-owned telecommunication company Telkom to build digital villages.
They both signed MoU at the Telkom Landmark Tower Jakarta on Wednesday (March 9, 2022) and witnessed by Tabalong Regent Anang Syakhfiani.
Anang strongly supported the cooperation between Apdesi and Telkom sebagai as a form of seriousness in advancing the region and to prepare the district for the new national capital (IKN) which is close to Tabalong.
"This collaboration is a real step to advance Tabalong, especially in the field of digitalization," Anang pointed out.
He hopes that the digitalization to be applied to all villages spread across 12 sub-districts.
Head of Tabalong Community and Village Empowerment Agency (DPMD) Erwan Mardani said village digitalization is not only to enhance the quality of public servicess but to improve the village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) as well.
"Not only will public services be more effective and efficient, there are 110 BUMDes and 22 BUMDesmart that will be better with the digital system," Erwan expounded.
To strengthen the establishment of digital village in Tabalong, Apdesi conducted a copy study to the digital village of Palasari, Ciater Sub-district, Subang District, West Java.
