Tabalong District recorded 74 COVID-19 patients in eight sub-districts were declared recovered bringing the total to 2.557 patients had gotten well.
"The most recovered patients are in Murung Pudak Sub-district reaching 39," said the government spokesman for the acceleration handling of COVID-19 Task Force Taufiqurrahman Hamdie in Tanjung, Friday.
Meanwhile, from Tanjung Sub-district 14 patients, Tanta 4, Kelua 7, Haruai 4, Banua Lawas 3, Muara Uya 2, and Bintang Ara 1.
On the same day, COVID-19 positive cases increased by 39 in nine sub-districts to make the total to 2,856 people.
A total of 248 patients are now under treatment, while the death toll was 51.
The high number of COVID-19 positve cases among residents put the Tabalong District to the status of level 3 community activity restriction (PPKM) in accordance with the Intruction of Home Affairs Minister (Inmegdagri) No. 14 of 2022 as of February 28, 2022.
