Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Kotabaru District Family Welfare Movement (PKK) won all fish dishes festival on `Indonesia seafood Expo 2015 in Jakarta November 11 to 14.
Acting regent of Kotabaru H Isra here on Thursday said this victory should be a motivation for women to develop the creativity of cooking with the use of fish, so that domestic consumption of fish increased.
Isra hopes that these activities to promote fishery products in the processed product "Promoting Movement Eat Fish" (GEMARIKAN) to increase Indonesia's fish consumption per capita per year.
Chairman of the South Kalimantan Dharma Wanita Agustina when receiving the trophy said this success is a collective victory of the results of a solid partnership.
Chairman of the PKK Kotabaru Raihani Wahdah expects provincial cooperation to make this snack into a typical food of Kotabaru could be promoted as a culinary tourism.
Meanwhile, the PKK Kotabaru team with chef Arni Kilasrasa who won the competition cooking fish using heart of banana additional material not normally used by the community.
