Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The revision of Regional Regulation No. 20 of 2013 concerning Sanitation, Beauty, Order, Health and Environment (K4L) is final. One of the points threatens fines for storage and using firecrackers.


According to the Chairman of the Special Committee Regional Regulation K4L of Banjarmasin's DPRD Agus Suprapto, the ban on storing and exploding firecrackers for the citizens stipulated in Article 12 for the implementation of order and peace.

"Thus Article 12 contains restrictions added at the point of firecrackers use prohibited during the event of religious worship," he said at the council building on Tuesday.

Because, he said, in chapter 12 there will be severe penalties for violators, which could be subject to criminal penalty with a maximum of 6 months imprisonment and a fine of as much as Rp50 million.

Included in article 12, said that Golkar politician, making the crowd show without a permit in advance from the authorities.

"There are some more in this article, like asking for donations to the public without permission of the relevant agencies. It also rules he could be put 6 months in prison," he said.
