Head of Tapin Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office Yustan Azidin said the construction of the new building of the district's Datu Sanggul Hospital has completed on time.

According to him, the project work which began in early 2021 by PT Adhi Karya and Luthfia was considered good and satisfactory. 

"PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) when monitoring was satisfied with the achievement of Tapin government," said Yustan Azidin, Friday. 

He said the physical construction of the hospital on a 4.8 hectare land on Jalan Trantang, Bitahan Urban Village, Lokpaikat Sub-district, worth IDR125 billion using loan fund from PT MSI Persero. 

"This is a big project. The management is good. Local contractors must learn from it," he said.

With the completion of the new building, the infrastructure and facilities, as well as services will be moved from the old building in stages.

In addition to physical construction, said Yustan,  the procurement of medical equipment has been allocated worth IDR23.66 billion. The total fund for physical buildings and medical equipment is IDR148.66 billion.

The new Datu Sanggul Hospital is equipped with 202 rooms, more than the old building which only had 115 rooms.

Tapin Regent HM Arifin Arpan during the groundbreaking of the new building in February 2021 said that the district government would place qualified specialist doctors, so that it would not only offer luxurious buildings and facilities but also qualified human resources.
