Amnesia Foundation has been scouting early age footballer in South Kalimantan, which consist of 13 districts and cities.

Founder of Amnesia Muhammad Syaripuddin SE, MAP, reported via whatsapp on Monday (January 24, 2022), that a U-12 (under 12 years old) football tournament was held on Sunday in Kotabaru (about 300 km southeast of Banjarmasin) as one of the efforts to discover talented players. 

Ten football clubs fought to win were Alif FC, Garuda Salino Academy, Kotabaru Fc, Garuda Mulia Academy, SSB Spinz, SD Eka Tjipta Cantung, Bayer Team, Generasi Fc, SSB Ranu United, and SSB Bhayangkara Pamse.

"The U-12 tournament is also held in Tanah Bumbu District, Tanah Laut District, Banjarbaru City, Banjar District, and 'Banua Anam' (six districts of upstream area)," said Syaripuddin, who is popularly known as Bang Dhin.

"Each member of the football club wil be selected and then we will form a solid team to play in a freindly match (sparing partner) with a team in Jakarta," continued the Deputy Speaker of South Kalimantan Legislative Council (DPRD).

After going through a full day game that was quite tiring, the tournament at the Kotabaru Bamega Stadium was won by Garuda Mulia Academy by beating SSB Ranu United on penalties.
