PT Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM) through its CSR program brought 10 sub-district heads and 30 village heads to the company's operational areas in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), to learn about the development of tourism village and aquaculture.
PT AGM's CSR Superintendent Syamsul Bahri here on Friday (Dec 17, 2021) said that a study with sub-district heads and village heads from Tapin and South Hulu Sungai (HSS) is held for four days, December 17-20, 2021.
"We want the results of this study to add the insight and experience of village heads and sub-district heads that encourages and motivates them to develop the potential of their respective villages, to then enhance the economy of the community," he said.
Some locations are planned to be visited, including Bilebante Village, Lingsar Sub-district, Lombok, NTB, which has succeeded in developing a tourism village and fisheries.
He believes that after returning from the study, there will be many benefits from the knowledge and experience they gained, because of the success of the village or aquaculture in their business and is recognized not only locally also outside the region.
"This study is also the company's CSR activity that is carried out with an effective program and is expected to be effective for community empowerment, with follow-up guidance, so that the company's presence can be felt in line with community economic development efforts," he said.
