One of PT Adaro Indonesia's partners, PT Saptaindra Sejati (PT SIS), has disbursed its 2021 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for improving the quality of school facilities, social assistance, and COVID-19 handling in North Hulu Sungai (HSU).

“This assistance is a form of PT SIS's concern for the residents of HSU,” said PT SIS's External Relation & Security Section Head Indra Yudistira.

PT SIS distributed assistance for the construction of new classrooms for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mifghahul Ulum in Ambahai Village, and footbridge for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Hayatun Diniyah 2 in Paminggir Village, Peminggir Sub-district.
 
The company also helped to rehabilitate Harapan Masa Kindergarten in Paminggir Seberang Village, TPA Ibnu Rasyid in Palbatu Village, and to support the construction of TPA Attijaniah in Danau Panggang Village and to renovate the corridor of Arrahman Kindergarten in Bararawa Village.

PT SIS also provided assistance for improving the infrastructure of Bomba Fire Brigade, clean-up activities, purchasing seeds, and planting fruit trees.

In the pandemic condition, PT SIS remains consistent in helping people in preventing the spread of COVID- 19 by providing 3 ply masks and handwashing equipment. "This assistance is a form of COVID-19 mitigation for the community, especially seven villages in Paminggir Sub-district," Indra expounded.

He said the distribution was carried out by land and water vehicle to reach the destination villages on the river coast of the Paminggir Sub-district.
