A Kotabaru DPRD legislator appreciated micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) who fulfill their obligation to pay taxes or levies.
One of them was Hafizah from CV Ihsan Jaya Lestari, which produces bottled mineral water "Mesiq". She received an award from the Kotabaru government that was handed over by the Regional Secretary H Said Akhmad.
"This award is proof that Mesiq was categorized as one of the best taxpayers that it can be an example for the people of Kotabaru," said the legislator from the United Development Party (PPP) faction Zaenal, as it was reported on Friday.
The tax paid is one of the sources of local revenue (PAD), he continued.
"This is a proud award for us and we will always give our best in terms of taxation," said Hafizah, who acknowledged that she was proud of the award given by the government.
