The Tabalong's Indonesian Sport Climbing Federation (FPTI) sends two of its athletes, Putri Maiza Azzura and Zaskia Al Zahra, to the National Age Group Climbing Championship in Banda Aceh City, Aceh.
The Aceh FPTI wall climbing will be held from November 18 to 25, 2021, said the Tabalong FPTI Daily Chair Muhammad Zainaini.
Tabalong athletes were sent to the national championship thanks to their achievement at the Provincial Age Group Climbing Championship in Tanah Laut District some time ago. Tabalong won 3 gold, 1 silver, and 7 bronze.
However, with that many medal achievements, the departure of Tabalong FPTI athletes to the national championship this time only had drawback funds. Whereas the funds they expected from the proposal distributed to a number of agencies and companies had no response.

Originally, Tabalong FPTI intended to dispatch four of its best athletes. However, the financial condition of the organization is not supportive.
Thank goodness there was personal help from the Chairman of Tabalong DPRD Mustafa, who is also the Chairman of Tabalong FPTI, to cover the transportation costs for one athlete only.
While the cost of one other athlete is borne by her parents.
"Cost other than transportation have to be borne by the athletes themselves," Zain expounded.
Putri Maiza Azzura will compete in Youth B, Lead, and Bouldering categories. While Zaskia Al Zahra competes in the Youth C, speed classic, and lead categories.
