The South Kalimantan National Paralympic Committee (NPC) contingent is ranked 4th in the standings for the most medals at the XVI National Paralympic Games (Peparnas) in Papua this day.
On the third day of the Peparnas match Tuesday, November 9, 2021, South Kalimantan again added nine gold medals.
"The total gold medals that our contingent win is 16 so far," said Chairman of South Kalimantan NPC Ahmad Firdaus when contacted in Papua.
South Kalimantan has also collected 12 silver medals and 17 bronze medals.

The additional gold medal that day, said Firdaus, 2 in swimming grabbed by Nor Aimah of S7 class in the women's 100 meters breaststroke, and Mulyadi of S6 class in the men's 100 meters breaststroke.
The athletic won 4 gold medals on behalf of Warmia of F42 class in the discus throwing, Faujiansyah of F44 class in the javelin, Fatimah of F37 class in the discus throwing, and Setyo Budihartarto of T47 class in the long jump.
From the tennis table, South Kalimantan secured 1 gold medal on behalf of Ahmad Munadi of TT6 class in the men's single and Syahrudin of B13/R class in judo of 60 kg category.
"Today's additional silver medal is 6, namely 3 in swimming, 1 in archery, 1 in athletic, and 1 in Judo," he said.
Meanwhile, there were also an additional 4 bronze medals, namely 2 from table tennis, 1 in athletic, and 1 in swimming.
"Although there are quite a lot of medals today, a total of18 medals, of course, the target of winning gold medals at the Papua Peparnas is still far, because our target is 35 gold medals," he said.
