Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Director of PT PLN Sofyan Basir optimistic that the state electricity company is able to realize the construction of the 35 thousand mega watts power plant spread throughout Indonesia.
"We are optimistic the electricity projects implemented in all parts of Indonesia will be realized," he said after becoming Inspector General of Independence Day ceremony in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, on Monday.
He said that under the planned target, the signing of a power purchase agreement to the private sector began in 2016 and 2017 were realized gradually. PT PLN and private will sign a power purchase agreement 10 thousand MW in 2016 followed five thousand MW in 2017.
"The rest is gradually built private, so that it can meet the target of providing 35 thousand MW of electrical energy in 2019 that serves the whole of Indonesia," he said.
He hoped that over the next five years the electricity needs throughout Indonesia by 95 percent to materialize, so the whole region teraliri maximum electricity.
"Our hope, for five years the electricity needs of the Indonesian people are met so that all the people enjoy the source of energy is very vital role," he said.
According to him, short-term programs that seek to be realized is the energy supply of 4,800 MW from various renewable energy sources.
"Renewable energy sources are ready to work from wind, geothermal, water, to energy derived from biomass will be realized according to the progress of technology," he said.
