Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Share of results or participation interest (PI) on the management of oil and gas of Sebuku Block in Larilarian Island between Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, and Majene, West Sulawesi, to be immediately signed.
Chairman of Kotabaru Assembly Hj Alfisah here on Monday said the assembly together with regent and several related parties represent Kotabaru government will attend the central government invitation at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
"According to the invitation we received, tomorrow (28/7) will be signing an agreement (MoU) on the results of the Sebuku Block management of oil and gas in Lari-larian Island," said Alfisah.
According to her, from the Government of Majene, West Sulawesi, will also present the regent, assembly and other relevant parties.
Although not yet know in detail the contents of the MoU, Alfisah make sure the point is about technical matters related to the PI withthe composition of 50:50 as agreed earlier.
Earlier, on the central government mediation led by Vice President Jusuf Kalla, the two sides agreed to the outcome or PI for the Sebuku block management divided equally between South Kalimantan and West Sulawesi.
Alfisah pointed that the clarity for is just waiting for the decree of the Director General of the Ministry of Finance and the Governor of South Kalimantan.
According Alfisah, for Kotabaru this agreement is an advantage, because of the nine-point potential of existing oil and gas in Sebuku Block only three points in the territory of Kotabaru, while six more points into the territory of Majene, West Sulawesi.
