To support the quality of learning from home, Adaro and the Indonesia Heritage Foundation (IHF) provided learn from home (BDR) training to 334 PAUD (early childhood education) teachers in South and Central Kalimantan.

Deputy Director of the IHF Training and SBB Division Edianna Putri (known as Bunda Edi) said at the beginning of the implementation of distance learning (PJJ), many parents and students complained about monotonous lessons, heavy school assignments, and rigid study hours.

"We as teachers need to innovate to make lessons easy for students and friendly to parents, but the development of children kept to be sharpened," said Bunda Edi.

The training, which was attended by 63 PAUD, was held for three days from 7 to 9 September 2021 in Tabalong, Balangan, Banjar, Banjarmasin, Barito Kuala, to Murung Raya.

carrying webinar concept, the training was conducted to refresh the implementation of Character-Based Holistic Education (PHBK) for PAUD teachers.

PHBK is an educational model that aims to produce students with character and high thinking skill or Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). In this training, Adaro through IHF developed a new module that was adaptive to the pandemic condition.

The module includes learning resources for teachers and parents.

Head of Tabalong Education Agency H Mahdi Noor who was present at the webinar said that this pandemic condition requires innovation in learning methods, so it is adaptive to the moods of children and parents.

“Make the child to play well and safely, so they always are able to develop,” he said.
 
“Alhamdulillah (thank God) this training is very useful to help us carry out our role as PAUD teachers,” said Dayah, An-Nida 10 PAUD teacher in Muara Tuhup Urban Village, Central Kalimantan.
