Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Unit business of Kintap Ports Class III, Tanah Laut, Mursidi, asks companies in the field of specialized port for coal to care for mangrove forest preservation.


"The owner of a specialized port for coal in their business activities do not only think of profit, but concern about the preservation of environment is very important," said Mursidi in the launching of Based Mangroves Coastal Environmental Protection in Tanah Laut District on Wednesday.

According to him, planting mangroves in coastal areas of Tanah Laut is crucial for its existence remain stable and provide the beauty. Then it should be supported by all interested parties.

Tanah Laut Regent Bambang Alamsyah through the Assistant Secretariat of Governance Safarin said he is very welcome mangrove forest conservation movement.

He said there are six coastal sub-districts namely Jorong, Kintap, Panyipatan, Takisung, Kurau, and Bumi Makmur.

Two of the six sub-districts became a coal loading and unloading activities in the specialized port.

According to him, the company's commitment to help preserve the mangrove forests should be completely executed, so that the damaged mangrove forests sustainably can return to normal.
