After a week in the red zone or the high-risk status of COVID-19 infection, the Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District's position returned to the orange zone (mild risk).  

Data from the district Health Agency processed by the Communication and Informatics Agency showed a relatively increasing trend of recovery rate with an average of 40 people per day. Whereas positive cases decreased between 20-30 people per day.

The latest data indicated the trend of going down, with 518 people still being treated and 1 suspect.

Acting Secretary of the district Muhammad Yani when confirmed said that according to the latest Minister of Home Affairs Instruction No.37 of 2021 on August 23, 2021, HST was set at level 3 status and has an obligation to strengthen 3T (testing, tracking, treatment).

"Previously we had an obligation to conduct test for 570 people of suspects, those with symptoms, and close contacts per day, but now only 166 people per day," said Yani.

Meanwhile, the condition of the district's General Hospital of Haji Damanhuri, which prepared 88 beds for COVID-19 patients is currently only inhabited by about 23 patients. 

"Health workers have also been administered the third dose with Moderna vaccine," he said.
