Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, has issued three ministerial instructions (Inmendagri) regarding the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM).
The three instructions are Inmendagri 30/2021, Inmendagri 31/2021, and Inmendagri 32/2021, director general of regional administration development, Syafrizal, said via electronic message, here on Tuesday.
Inmendagri 30/2021 concerns PPKM levels 4, 3, and 2 for Java and Bali, and will be in effect from August 10 until August 16, 2021, he informed.
"(It's meant) to follow up on the directives of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, who has given an order on the implementation of PPKM levels 4, 3, and 2 for COVID-19 in Java and Bali, in accordance with the criteria for the level of the pandemic situation based on the assessment," the instruction states.
The second ministerial instruction, Inmendagri 31/2021, concerns the implementation of PPKM level 4 in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara, and Papua, which will be effective from August 1 until August 23, 2021, Syafrizal said.
The instruction will decide the regional level of PPKM based on the indicators, set by the Minister of Health, for adjusting efforts to public health and social restrictions in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, he added.
The third instruction regulates the implementation of PPKM levels 3, 2, and 1 as per the zoning criteria for local COVID-19 control up to the RT (neighborhood unit) level, he said.
The local level criteria are determined based on an assessment performed in accordance with the guidelines set by the Minister of Health, he added.
Instruction32/2021 will remain in effect from August 10 until August 23, 2021, he informed.
