Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of the Kotabaru Transportation Sugian Noor said it would provide heavy penalties for plantation companies that violate the rules.


"We currently conduct inventory to damaged roads and fleets often passed to transport fresh fruit bunches (known here as TBS) by exceeding the capacity," said Sugian in Kotabaru, Monday.

According to Sugian, district roads in the area of Hampang-Kelumpang Hulu have many damages due to the large fleet of oil palm plantation companies owned TBS are ignorant to the rules.

"Severe sanctions would be given to companies that exist in the area, if not equipped fleet by licensing according to the rules," he said.

Previously, Sugian said to immediately called palm oil companies, related to permits testing of vehicles or KIR for fleet operated by the company.

"Most of the fleet operate in the plantation companies do not have KIR, and it is a violation," said Sugian.
