Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Kotabaru Trade and Market Management Agency ensures that markets in the districts free from circulation of plastic or synthetic rice.
Head of Trade and Market Management Mahyudiansyah here on Monday said, a joint sudden inspection with military and Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Industry Agency to several distributors and agents of rice in Kotabaru did not find synthetic rice.
Kotabaru District Military 1004 Commander Lt. Col. Inf Khabib Mahfud said at least 15 distributors and agents visited by the team and did not reveal any synthetic rice.
"Distrsibutor and agents in Kotabaru are still bringing rice from Java, Sulawesi and Banjarmasin who just have harvest," said Mahyudiansyah.
Although they found no synthetic rice, the Trade Agency will remain wary, because synthetic rice harm trader and endanger people who eat it.
