Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A biodiesel plant with a capacity of 10 tons per day in the village of Telagasari, Kelumpang Hilir, Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan, planned to start operating at the end of 2015.
Head of Kotabaru Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprise and Industry Agency Zainal Ariffin on Sunday said the operation of biodiesel plants just waiting for two things. The grants process from the central government to the district, and the improvement of the plant also the addition of a machine that takes five to six months.
"Hopefully, the grant from the Ministry of Research and Technology to Kotabaru completed in May 2015, so that the memorandum of understanding between local governments and investors PT Bio Energy Partners can be held," he explained.
If the MoU done, then the investor will make improvements and equip factories to support the production of biodiesel. In this cooperation the investor is obliged to make improvements and additions to the supporting plant, as well as setting up venture capital which value amounted to Rp6 billion.
