The Sultan Suriansyah General Hospital in Banjarmasin is full of COVID-19 patients. All 50 beds readied for COVID-19 patients are filled.
"Some of them are even placed in the emergency room (IGD)," said Head of Health Agency Machli Riyadi, Tuesday.
According to him, the full occupied of COVID-19 patients at the hospital has been several days, due to the increasing number of people infected in the city.
The agency, he said, is trying to quickly add inpatient places for COVID-19 patients. He is targeting an additional of 75 beds, bringing the total to 125 beds in the city government-owned hospital which is located on Jalan RK Ilir, South Banjarmasin.
If the capacity is also full, he will the option of building an emergency tent at the front of this special hospital for COVID-19 patients.
