Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A total of 103 fire fighters units (known here as BPK) in the city of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, will receive a grant with a total budget allocation of Rp535 million.


Head of the Regional Disaster Management and Fire (BPBDK) Banjarmasin M Hilmi here Monday said a grant from the regional budget (APBD) in 2015 will soon be disbursed.

According to him, the grant was varied, namely BPK with tank car Rp4 million, BPK with pick up cars Rp3.5 million, and Rp2.5 million for BPK with ambulance, and BPK with speedboat or tossa Rp2 million respectively, while BPK still using carts Rp1 million.

He stated that the grant awarded will be held accountable, as well as their proposals to BPBDK.

Hilmi explained, to be able to get a grant, the minimum BPK already registered in municipal government for three years, and truly belongs to the comunity who managed jointly.

BPK in Banjarmasin, he acknowledges, the largest in Indonesia. They considered sufficient alert. Meanwhile, fires incident declining here. In 2013 as many as 101 incidents and in 2014 decreased to 96.
