National Defense Forces (TNI) Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto said he will soon send additional healthcare workers to Wisma Atlet, Nagrak and Pasar Rumput health facilities to treat COVID-19 patients.

"I will soon send additional healthcare workers from TNI and Polri (National Police). They will be distributed to the three places," he said in a written statement released on Sunday.

On Sunday, the TNI chief paid an impromptu visit to Nagrak apartment in Cilincing, North Jakarta, which serves as a self isolation center for asymptomatic COVID-19 patients.

During the visit to Nagrak apartment, Tjahjanto also asked healthcare workers about the problems they face.

He said the health minister, the national police chief, and the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) chief will soon find a solution to the problem.
