Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Banjarmasin Industry and Trade Agency Esya Zain stated, the minimarkets in the city will be raided to oversee the prohibited sale of alcoholic beverages.

"In the near future our team took to the field to supervise minimarkets directly if any of them sell alcoholic beverage," he said in Banjarmasin on Monday.

He admits, there are many minimarkets in the capital of South Kalimantan, so the team will be looking for a random sample of supervision to make sure no one sells alcoholic beverage as it has been banned after the discharge regulation of the Minister of Commerce recently.

Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 06/M-DAG/PER/1/2015 which came into effect on Thursday (16/4), to mention a drink with alcohol content below 5 percent forbidden to be circulated in the mini markets and small retailers.

"If we found alcoholic beverages as these rules will be confiscated," he said.

However, he admitted, there are a number of drinks that are still allowed to be sold such as Grand Sand and Bintang Zero. "Since both of these drinks do not contain alcohol," he said.
