The Banjarmasin Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) has selected five youths to become pioneers in five fields in 2021.
Head of the agency M Taufik Rivani here on Sunday announced that they are Ratna Safitri in the field of education, Lidia Agustina in religion, social, and culture, and Yibnu Khaldun in natural resources management, tourism, and environment.
The other two are Dhea Maulida in the field of food, and Muhammad Helmy Abdillah in technological innovation.
According to him, the selection of the 2021 young pioneers had gone through a strict selection until the grand final on June 8 on the 2nd floor of the Menara Pandang building at the siring (embankment) attraction.
He fully hopes the selected youths to be examples and role models in pioneering in every activity.
"Because what is happening now is an exemplary crisis. If young people are able to become exemplary for other young people, of course, it will be easier to develop the potential of youth in the future in order to become development drivers who are expected to be able to make Indonesia even better," he pointed out.
Meanwhile, the Head of Youth Leadership, Pioneering, and Partnership of the agency Apriadi SH said the 2021 youth pioneer selection from the preparation, socialization, fact-finding, semi-final, and final stages went well and smoothly.
"All thanks to the support of all parties, the committee, assistant jury, jury, participants, and friends for the success of the selection," he said.
