South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Regent H. Achmad Fikry welcomed the arrival of acting Governor Safrizal who was in his Ramadhan Safari in the district, as well as handed over various assistance, including 5,000 rapid antigen test kits.

The Regent said that his party had the honor of one full day visit of the acting Governor in HSS, and was grateful for providing motivation to continue work well, including in handling COVID-19.

“Earlier, 5,000 rapid antigen test kits were handed over to us. Immediately conduct tests to the public. These are the methods we do to continue to suppress the growth of COVID-19. We will immediately follow-up all the acting Governor's directives,” he said, Friday (April 23, 2021).

Meanwhile, the acting Governor said that he also distributed grants to several Islamic boarding schools, madrasah, and mosques. He hopes the grant funds will be used to develop Islamic religious education and hopefully, it will be useful.

"Regarding vaccine,  please prioritize elderly and teachers, because these are the people who are prioritized for getting the vaccine," he said at the pavilion of Guru (Islamic preacher) Kapuh in Simpur.

The grants were, among others, distributed to Ibnu Atha'illah Kapuh Islamic Boarding School, MAN 1 HSS, Al-Azhar Banyu Barau Islamic Boarding School, and Abdissalam Mosque in Gambah Dalam Barat village.

Ramadhan Safari was held by promoting strict health protocol. Before entering the Guru Kapuh pavilion, the invited guests underwent a rapid antigen test.

Also attending, Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad, Secretary of HSS H. Muhammad Noor, Chairman of MUI HSS TGH. Muhammad Riduan Baseri (Guru Kapuh), Head of South Kalimantan Health Agency Muslim, Forkopimda (the District Leadership Communication Forum) of HSS, and other invited guests.
