Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Six defendants in cases of alleged corruption of the 2010 social assistance funds (Bansos) in South Kalimantan Provincial Bureau of Public Welfare worth Rp27.5 billion freed by judges in the District Court of Banjarmasin, Monday (19/1).


The judges agreed that the sixth defendants, the former Provincial Secretary Muchlis Gafuri, former Assistant II administration Fitri Rifani, two former Public Welfare Bureau chief H Fauzan Saleh (now Vice Regent of Banjar) and Anang Bakhranie, also two former staff of the bureau Sarmili and Mahliana, not guilty to the crime of corruption.

They give the decision off to the defendant or onslag recht van vervolging, meaning all legal charges over the actions of the defendant in the indictment of Public Prosecutor has been proven legally and convincingly by law, but does not have a criminal element.

The judges also ask for the name and dignity of the defendant must be returned with the good, and the cost should be borne by the state court. The judges also ordered the defendants were found not guilty should be released from prison.

The defendant looks very happy, even shed tears and excitement and prostration of gratitude. All spectators, mostly family of defendant, also rejoice, even incessantly chanting Takbir.
