Coordinator of Health for the Tanah Laut COVID-19 Special Service Facility Amy Hasan said in the last one week there were 47 patients who were discharged (declared recovered).
"Seeing this fact, the trend of COVID-19 sufferers has tended to decline," said Amy in Pelaihari, Tuesday (Feb 16, 2021).
According to him, since the issuance of the district head's circular, which stipulates a maximum treatment period of 20 days, many patients had been allowed to go home.
In early January, he said, 136 patients were treated at the Special Service Facility, but the latest data on patients being treated was only 55. "The decrease was quite significant since the Regent's circular," he said.

Meanwhile, close surveillance has been a contributing factor to the decline in the COVID-19 trend in the district, said Amy, such as tightening on family events that must implement health protocol.
These efforts will increase to adjust with the direction of the central government on the implementation of a micro-scale implementation of community restrictions (micro-PPKM) in several villages in Tanah Laut.
Amy reminded the public about 5M, namely wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, stay away from crowds, and reducing mobility.
